Been a premium user for years. I've been using a system-wide ad blocker since I can remember with no issues, until recently. My nightly backups stopped working a few days ago and it appears that's why (according to the very limited information on the site and popup message in-app) . I've white listed the apps requested connections, but still can't connect to my cloud service.

The app seems to be a decent replacement for Titanium backup but unfortunately IT PINGS Google in order to perform local backups, why? Edit: Thanks for looking into it dev. Since I reported this I bought premium so this is less relevant for me now. You seem like a solid dude so I decided to trust the app but when I reported it I did not have premium and I had not set cloud sync so it was definitely a bug. Question for Drive uploaded backups: are they encrypted before uploading them to Drive?

Hi, this was a bug. Please update to the latest version and let me know how it goes. Edit: Yes backups are encrypted: swiftapps.org/faq#encryption

Makes me miss Titanium Backup just a little less. In-between the complexity/versatility of old skool android where you could do anything no matter the risk, and today's uniformed/safe systems you have to sell an organ to change a button; a few projects (programs) stand out that find ways to mix the two very well. This is of one of the leading examples. It can still be done. I do resent that a wrong click won't brick your device. Made success something to be relieved about.
